Ground Locks, & Locking Systems
A range of roller shutter locks are available offering a variety of security solutions for commercial and industial shutters. All locks can be supplied "key alike" to suit multiple installations, with the various options of lock position and type specifically designed to meet your needs.
Ground lock
- The ground-lock unit comes complete with socket, eye-bolt and security pad lock
- The ground socket is spring loaded.
- This lock twists into the socket.
- Once the lock is into position, the shutter is lowered and eyebolt which is fixed to the bottom rail of the shutter, sits alongside the ground eye- bolt.
- Both of these are then locked into position with the padlock.
- For roller shutters that are over 3-metres wide we do however recommend that 2 – ground locks are fitted for added security.
Pin locks
- Pin locks are fitted onto the side guide or channels either side of the roller shutter.
- The pin lock housings are welded to the side guide, both the guide and the shutter curtain will have to be drilled out to accept the pin lock.
- Place the pin lock into the housing to secure the shutter.
